Transnational Meeting – meet our team in person

Some weeks ago, we had our first transnational meeting in the capital of Austria. As we are now part of the Erasmus+ programme for the next three years, it was important for us to meet our partners in person.

Welcome to … Vienna, the city of coffee and Schnitzel. Some weeks ago, we had our first transnational meeting in the capital of Austria. As we are now part of the Erasmus+ programme for the next three years, it was important for us to meet our partners in person.

We had some goals for the two days. First of all, everyone introduced him/herself and the company or school in a welcome round. Erasmus+ rules and our vision were also on the agenda. Further we presented our stamps (see below) and had some working sessions.

Partners

Our partners are from all over Europe.

Reelworx GmbH, HTL Wien 3 Renweg and SkillDisplay are from Austria. The TYPO3 GmbH is from our neighbour country Germany. And some more kilometres away, we have SYNTHESIS from Cyprus and Liceul Tehnologic Grigore Moisil Braila from Romania. The transnational meeting was the perfect opportunity to get to know each other in person and of course take some team pictures.

Stamp system

We introduced our stamp system. If you haven’t heard of it before, you can read our blogpost on one of our partners websites; the blog of TYPO3 GmbH.

To put it in a nutshell: we created packages for all our stakeholders: learners, educators, business persons and certifiers. For example, one of the learners’ stamps is labeled: "Access quality material".
Check them out - find out which of these are of interest to you and stay up to date. We will use the stamps or adequate hashtags in our blogposts and our Social Media channels: Facebook and Twitter.

Working sessions

The working sessions were great – the partners could exchange views about their goals in person. In each session we created groups, which were well-matched on the representatives of our partners and the SkillDisplay team, as well as the topics we were working for; always with the goal to improve the platform for our community. After every working session, we did some presentations to tell the others from the team, what our output was.

One of our topics was how we can analyse the current needs of educators. Together with SYNTHESIS from Cyprus we will tackle this task; the goal is to optimize the platform for supporting teachers and trainers in their tasks.

Time was flying, it was a great pleasure to meet our partners in person and because we are famous for our coffeehouse culture, all participants got a coffee cup to remember their stay.
