This section covers user administration and access control in Drupal. Learners will understand how to manage user accounts, create and configure roles, assign permissions, and set up user profiles. By the end of this section, learners will be able to establish a secure and effective user management system that controls who can access and perform specific actions within their Drupal site.

- Create and configure user roles - Learners will be able to add new user roles and understand how roles define groups of users with specific responsibilities
- Manage and assign permissions - Learners will be able to configure permissions for different roles, understanding what actions each permission grants and how to apply the principle of least privilege
- Add and edit user accounts - Learners will be able to create new user accounts, modify existing user information, reset passwords, and manage user account status (active, blocked)
- Understand and configure user profiles - Learners will be able to explain what user profiles are, how they differ from user accounts, and configure profile fields to capture additional user information
- Assign roles to users - Learners will be able to grant and revoke roles from individual users and understand how multiple roles combine to determine a user's permissions
- Apply security best practices for user management - Learners will understand how to create secure user configurations, avoid granting excessive permissions, and maintain proper access control
