This section covers the essential skills needed to work as a content editor in Drupal CMS. Learners will master the day-to-day tasks of creating and managing website content, including working with the editorial interface, managing different types of content and media, organizing content through taxonomies, and controlling site navigation. By the end of this section, learners will be able to independently create, edit, and publish content without requiring technical or administrative assistance.

Ziele

  • Log in to the Drupal CMS backend - Learners will be able to access the administrative interface using their credentials and navigate to the dashboard
  • Understand and navigate the Content Editor menu - Learners will be able to identify and use the key sections and functions available in the content editor interface
  • Create new content - Learners will be able to add new content items using the appropriate content types and fill in all required fields
  • Edit existing content - Learners will be able to locate, modify, and update existing content items, including saving drafts and publishing changes
  • Link pages in the site navigation - Learners will be able to integrate content into the website's navigation structure and control its placement
  • Create and configure menu items - Learners will be able to add new menu items, set menu links, define parent-child relationships, and manage menu item properties (title, weight, visibility)
  • Create and manage taxonomy terms - Learners will be able to add taxonomy terms to vocabularies, organize them hierarchically, and apply them to content for categorization and filtering
  • Upload and manage media entities - Learners will be able to upload images, documents, and other media files, add metadata (alt text, captions), and embed media into content
