Description

TYPO3 allows multiple sites to be managed within one TYPO3 installation. Understanding the advantages and disadvantages of this concept enables the consultant to advise clients on the best solution for their requirements.

Goals

  • I understand the concept of multiple site setups in TYPO3, where multiple websites or domains are managed within a single TYPO3 installation.
  • I am familiar with the TYPO3 site configuration structure, such as site configurations, root page templates, and domain records, to facilitate the effective management of multiple sites.
  • I know the concept of backend usergroups and the restrictions when managing permissions in a multi-site setup.
