Description

TYPO3's backend access control system combines four mechanisms to define what a backend user can see and do: access lists, DB and file mounts, page permissions and User TSconfig. All mechanisms are defined at group level and merged additively across multiple groups.

Goals

  • I know how to configure access to pages for backend users and user groups.
  • I know that I can set default values for page creation via Page TSconfig.
