Description

Installing TYPO3, creating an initial website, and understanding the first configuration steps are essential tasks for TYPO3 integrators. This includes setting up a TYPO3 instance with Composer and DDEV, working with the backend, managing pages and content, and configuring the default site theme and site settings.

Goals

  • I can install TYPO3 using Composer and the TYPO3 setup command.
  • I know the basic system requirements for running TYPO3 locally or on a server.
  • I can log in to the TYPO3 backend and identify the most important backend modules.
  • I can create and manage pages and content elements in the page tree.
  • I know how to configure site settings and clear caches after configuration changes.
  • I know the difference between Composer mode and Classic mode installations.
