Description

Caching basics in TYPO3. Functionality and types of caching as well as an overview of the different caches.

Goals

  • I know how caches can be manipulated.
  • I can configure caching with TypoScript.
  • I can exclude pages from caching.
  • I know what cache tags are and how to use them.
  • I know that TCEMAIN.clearCacheCmd is a Page TSconfig property that clears additional frontend page caches when a record is saved, and accepts page UIDs, the keywords pages and all, and cacheTag:tagname as values.
