Description

This skill covers usage of Composer for extensions and integration into TYPO3 projects.

Goals

  • I know which fields to put in the composer.json of my extension, what they mean and how they work to create functioning, readable and helpful composer.json files.
  • I can install 3rd-party extensions and my own extensions in my site project via Composer.
  • I know the benefits and drawbacks of using Composer and can advise my coworkers and clients which approach to use.
  • I know how to provide and access public assets in a composer installation.
  • Also, I know how to update the autoloader data in non-Composer installations.
